BCIB participates in the construction of "Top Ten Innovation Projects in 2019"!

On December 7, 2019, a major project that demonstrated China's marine engineering strength, the Qingdao offshore project Petrobras FPSO P70 project, successfully attracted the CCTV news. This project not only represents my country's advanced technology in the field of marine engineering, but also demonstrates my country's far-reaching influence in the global energy field.

On January 2, 2020, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council announced the results of the selection of the "Top Ten Innovative Projects in 2019", and the Brazilian FPSO P70 project was successfully selected. This project, known as a 350,000-ton world-class "offshore oil plant", has won wide recognition and praise for its innovative design and construction technology.

As a participant of this project, BCIB Company's contribution cannot be underestimated.

The core task undertaken by BCIB Company is to clean the cooling circulating water pipes on the FPSO P70 platform, which is a huge and complex task. The pipeline system is 1,650 meters long and distributed in 10 different modules. The pipeline diameter ranges from 1 inch to 26 inches. The cleaning requirements are extremely high. It is necessary to thoroughly remove the rust spots on the pipe wall and the debris inside the pipe. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the inner wall of the pipe after cleaning is smooth and has no roughness, and no residual particles and impurities.

In order to achieve this high standard, the advanced ultra-high pressure water jet process is used to complete this task. This process not only effectively removes rust spots and debris in the pipe, but also avoids the damage of chemical substances to the pipe wall. Compared with the traditional chemical flushing process, the ultra-high pressure water jet process also performs well in environmental protection. The waste liquid after cleaning only needs simple filtration to meet the emission standards, without the need for complex hazardous chemical treatment.

In this project, high-quality nozzles imported from the United States were used. These nozzles can withstand a pressure of up to 2,000 kilograms, providing strong support for the cleaning work.
