Application of Anti-corrosion for Steel Structures: Underwater Cleaning of Slides of Water Intake Grates
Water intake grates in nuclear power plants are installed in water intake grate slots. In a marine environment, the slots are prone to biofouling, hindering the positioning and movement of the grates, thus requiring regular cleaning. Traditional cleaning methods involve divers working underwater, which poses high risks and low efficiency.
To address the structure of the grating slots in nuclear power plants, Guangzhou LanHuan has developed a customized automatic cleaning mechanism. Using high-pressure water and this automatic cleaning mechanism eliminates the need for divers to work underwater, significantly improving operational safety and efficiency.
Customized Execution Mechanism for Cleaning Water Intake Grate Slides:
➡ A frame structure customized according to the dimensions of the water intake grate slides.
➡ Equipped with underwater lighting and camera systems to monitor the cleaning effect.
➡ Uses rotating jets to increase jet coverage and cleaning efficiency.
➡ Adopts hydraulic-driven self-rotating jet technology to reduce system complexity and improve stability.
