Application of Anti-corrosion for Internal Pipe Wall: Internal Painting of 200mm Small Pipes

For repair work after the old coating is peeled off on buried pipes in power plants, BCIB has introduced internal pipe wall spray equipment. Using high-pressure paint delivered by airless spray machines, the internal spray device rotates and moves along the inner wall of the pipe to complete the painting work, eliminating the need for personnel to enter the pipe.

Through on-site investigations, it was found that spraying small pipes below 300mm in diameter posed great difficulties. In response to this, BCIB has developed a small-diameter internal high-speed centrifugal spraying machine, which achieves inner hole spraying for horizontal and vertical pipes.
